Everything for those who live here
Practical information for those who live in London Tower.
Who helps you with what?
For the building, communal costs and day-to-day questions you can turn to the property manager (syndic) and reception.
Property manager (syndic) — Syncura
Syncura manages the residence. During office hours report to the property manager (syndic); during opening hours report to reception. Outside office hours Syncura charges 25 euro per report.
Reception — Pascale
Pascale Dockx keeps everything in the building running smoothly. Reception is closed at weekends and on public holidays.
The property manager (syndic) or reception can help you to
- report a fault (lifts, heating, electricity, water leak …);
- order name plates (letterbox, doorbell);
- have the name on the intercom changed;
- order and register keys and badges;
- request a code and protective panels for lift A when moving.
Everything for everyday living
From parcels and parking to moving and waste — a brief summary of what you need to know.
Syncura owner portal
With a personal login, every owner can consult individual and communal documents, including the RIO.
Bringme-Box
There is a Bringme-Box in the entrance hall. As a resident you can use it to have parcels delivered safely. Request your account below; the administrator will set it up for you.
Request your account- The administrator sets up your account; you receive an invitation email from Bringme. Log in to the app or at Bringme.com with that email address.
- Put ‘Bringme’ before your name when placing an online order.
- Give Londenstraat 60, 2000 Antwerpen as the delivery address.
- You receive a notification by email and in the app as soon as your parcel has been delivered.
Waste room
The waste room is accessible with a badge only. Sort as follows:
- PMD in a knotted blue bag in the black container, or loose in the blue PMD bags.
- Glass in the glass container.
- Cardboard and paper in the cardboard container — in closed boxes or tied together.
- Household waste in closed bags, in the correct grey containers (marked on the containers).
RENUWI takes anything that does not belong there back out of the container and leaves it in the corner of the waste room — which brings considerable extra costs for all residents.
Bulky waste & recycling centre
You take bulky waste, and any other waste that cannot be sorted in the waste room, to the recycling centre yourself: polystyrene, furniture, oil, light bulbs, batteries, mattresses, household appliances and electronics …
- Recycling centre Luchtbal — Singaporestraat 99, 2030 Antwerpen.
- Recycling centre Linkeroever — Blancefloerlaan 179, 2050 Antwerpen.
- Open: daily 9am–5pm, Saturday 8am–4pm. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
You must book an appointment in advance for your visit to the recycling centre. Only on Wednesdays can you go without one.
Parking garage
The car park has two entrances/exits: one at the Noorderplaats and one at Mensura (the building a little further along towards the Waaslandtunnel).
- Heading for the Waaslandtunnel? Take the Mensura exit — that way you avoid the queues and long waits at Noorderplaats during rush hour.
- For the Noorderlaan, always leave via the Noorderplaats exit.
- Want to leave the garage via Mensura? On -1, take the gentle ramp up to the Holiday Inn exit. You need your badge to drive out.
- That entrance/exit is also a handy alternative when the gate or barrier at Noorderplaats is out of order.
The garage spaces are intended for motor vehicles only. Stacking or storing other goods is prohibited, as are flammable materials and drilling into the walls. Park only in your own space, within the marked lines, without obstructing others.
Bicycle stores
There are enclosed bicycle stores on -2 and -3, accessible with a badge only.
Water & electricity meter rooms
The water meter room is on -1, via the corridor of the waste room. The electricity meter room is also on -1 (car park). Take the lift to -1 and follow the arrows.
Moving
When moving, you use lift A only (width 1,10 m · depth 2,10 m · height 2,30 m). Lifts B, C and D may not be used.
- Reserve lift A with a code — request it from reception.
- Also request the protective panels for lift A from reception.
- Your badge is registered in your name. Moving out of the building, or are new tenants moving in? Hand the badge back in — otherwise it will be deactivated remotely.
- The deposit for a new badge is 30 euro.
- Taking up part of the pavement? Then request permission from the city in advance.
CCTV security
To keep a closer eye on safety, there are cameras in the lifts, the entrance hall, the waste room, the parking entrance/exit and at a few strategic spots on levels -2 and -3.
Internal Rules (RIO)
As an owner you receive a RIO — a set of rules on living, residing and good order covering the use of the private and common areas. Owners consult it digitally on the Syncura portal and pass it on to their tenants; you can also request it in the Facebook group. A few extracts:
- Pets: allowed as long as they cause the neighbours no nuisance (noise, smell, dirt). Dangerous pets are not allowed. If noise nuisance arises, the property manager (syndic) or the RME are obliged to take action.
- Terraces: no fixed or movable structures that are visible from the street are permitted. Terrace furniture is of course fine.
- Noise nuisance: music, works and dragging furniture around are only allowed from Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 10pm. On Sundays and public holidays no noise nuisance is allowed.
All owners and residents must comply with the RIO. In case of non-compliance, the property manager (syndic) can impose a fine of 50 euro per offence/breach/per day.
Share info with fellow residents via the Facebook group “London Tower – Antwerp” and follow the neighbourhood on Hoplr Eilandje.
